I personally like Lotus Herbals cosmetics. They are pocket friendly, 100% vegetarian products, preservative free and are not tested on animals. They offer an array of shades in their lipsticks, be it Pure Colors, Moist Petals or Floral glam. Their PURESTAY range is also a winner. They offer some great shades of lipsticks, lip gloss, eye pencils and eye shadows. I have heard some great reviews about their foundation and compact. Yet to try them. There are 10 shades of lip glosses in their PURESTAY range though some of the shades overlap each other. I so wish they had included true red and some peachy brown shade.

PURESTAY lip gloss Vintage Rose come in a baby pink carton with a tiny booklet which informs us on other products too. The entire PURESTAY range is packed in a very classy manner. Same is the case with their lip gloss. The glosses comes packed in a nice pink colored carton. It comes in a long elongated tube and is quite sturdy with Lotus Herbals PURESTAY imprinted on it. The applicator is a regular doe foot wand and picks up correct amount and is designed in such a way that only the brush picks up the gloss and the entire wand remains clean and so it does not lead to any wastage.

Texture:

The texture of this beauty is slightly thick and sticky. It is the stickiness of the gloss which makes it last long. The gloss contains no shimmer. This particular shade is also well pigmented but is not as rich as Rose Bud. One swipe might not provide a perfect coverage especially on pigmented lips. Prime your lips before applying his lip gloss or just dab a dot of foundation on the lips. This will conceal the lip pigmentation and bring out the true colour of the lip gloss.

My experience:

Lotus Herbals Pure stay glosses are the best glosses I’ve ever tried so far. It has a perfect texture and pigmentation of a lip gloss. Vintage Rose is very pretty pink shade. I’m not much of a pink lipstick or lip gloss person, but just couldn’t stop myself from picking up this color when I first saw it at the counter. The shade would look beautiful on fair to medium skin tone. The colour instantly perks up the face and gives life to a dull face. You can even pair this lip gloss on top of your pink lipstick. But it looks more gorgeous when used alone.

The staying power of this gloss is above average. It stays for two hours on me and then fades beautifully. Rose bud stays for a longer period of time, because it’s a darker shade than Vintage rose. The gloss is transferable and will vanish soon if you purse your lips a lot.

I absolutely love this gloss and will surely repurchase this again. I would highly recommend this shade to pink lipstick and lip gloss lovers. Gloss lovers should definitely purchase one out of this range. You won’t be disappointed.
